Stielas Storhett

sup? wat? yeah I haven’t been around, the “band of the week” Idea is probably long gone but who cares, here I am back with bands I hear and like for one reason or another.

Today I looked at Stielas Storhett, is black metal of course, no one will name his band like that if they weren’t. But they have a really nice touch between this doom like wave and black metal “From far far away” (just hear the song, you’ll get it hah). Pretty much like it, and it’s nice to be back

Band of the week - Hacktivist

rap and djent….. waaaaat? but yea there it is, a band that mix both and is pretty good, this kind of music is what usually tells me that you can do whatever you like and if you do it right it will go well. Here again I post something that is not really my style but I have to admit it is good stuff.

Band of the week - Trioscapes

Jazz, yea right, suddenly having a saxophone makes you a jazz band, take note guys, want to be cataloged as death metal brutal jazz? hire a sax to play with you.

Now seriously, the band is extremely progressive and this album is something they surely thought and compose, if you see the video you will see how the drummer is probably doing some crazy math in his head while playing. The music is impressive and very refreshing.

Band of the week - The Faceless

I’ll be straight with this one, this band really left me with a hard duty, explaining their music will probably sound incoherent but I will do it all the same with one song example: Deconsecrate

At the beginning there is some kind of opeth guitar with a very beautiful voice, then some child voices appear like some kind of between the buried and me and BOOM there is a brutal entrance, I have no idea how the made this swap not sound horrible and absurdly out of place but they did. It’s super technical and sounds really amazing, and when the sax comes in, like an inhsahn song, it fits perfectly (yep a sax AWW MY GAD!). Amazing band! Thanks to Brian Simmons for hitting the exact spot on a band that I may like.

Band of the week - Irepress

A band from Boston, US. they are pretty experimental in the good way, they do it right, it has a flow with the song, is not just nonsense as some experimental bands now say: “yea dude I am experimental, hear my song you will never understand what the fuck”, well to you experimental crappy bands I desire a huge dildo in your ass for at least a week for making me hear your shitty music.

Ok sorry about that, now to go on with Irepress, they do this thing right, some songs are very instrumental and others with a singer which is pretty cool, relaxing, unique, all good things, the inspiring parts are just incredible. I am pretty happy to have found this band and this is my way to share an awesome band to you guys.

Band of the week - Dir en Grey

A band from japan, these guys are really special, I haven’t heard a band so good at some songs and nasty at others (yep, it’s not only heavy it’s nasty hah). I’ll just leave two songs here that explain my point very well.

Band of the week - Impulse

A techno house band (or better said dj). The sounds are pretty much like juggle sounds with the usual beat we can expect from techno house, it’s pretty much a catch. loving it!

Band of the week - Sirens and Us

A band from oslo, Norway. They play a really nice rock, the voice is so relaxing and deep and their music is really energetic or super calm, sometimes I feel I am just talking nonsense, well at the end I am just expressing exactly what I feel while I hear the songs and as I like to say, Its just says good things about a band if you can hear the music and let it flow.

Band of the week - Square Pusher

I feel this band is like a pre dubstep with some nintendo going on. I have to admit the band catch me up pretty quickly and kind of accelerates you (or at least me) when hearing it.
